i have so much sh!t to do that's not even funny either. ugh
but it's okay. anything for the summer set
jessica bowen is a superstar. i adore her.
and i love love love everyone else in that band.
brian is weird though. haha sorry beedales.
it's almost my birthday! yeee actually i don't know how excited i am about that
it's on a tuesday. tuesdays are ewww. but i'll make the best of it.

it was great 
i dressed up as jessica bowen from the summer set 
maya was john
sarah was stephen
and then we went trick-or-treating
and everyone thought we weren't dressed up haha

i went home from school with maya in my saratoga outfit 
we just hung around and waited to get picked up
maya straightened my hair which took like two minutes. my hair is pretty compliant apparently. 
then we got picked up and ate pizza at my house
and sarah came
and we went to tait :)

so bascially this weekend was super packed.
it started on friday night when i got home late after golf and had to go volunteer at this gala thing. i honestly didn't do anything but eat the free food and watch drunk people be morons. but i got hours and that's all the matters. i got home at elevenish if i recall and did some homework till one and then went to bed. that was friday. fun stuff.
on saturday i had a piano lesson early early early. but no golf lesson because he went on a fishing trip. haha. so i got some more homework done and went to maya's house to study math (because that class is like epic fail right now) she got her haircut and we went to the fall festival in l.a. and made super awesome plastic necklaces with star beads in the kid's section. i swear, we were the only ones over the age of four there. and there were a lot of half asian kids which made me happy. we have a connection.
we went back to her house and ate some yummy food. beans and rice and chicken and mushrooms and water. mmmm. then more math for an hour or so. we had some tea. (they said i don't eat enough...i think i ate twice my body mass that day...) and then we packed everything up and drove to sjskate! yay!
we got there during make believe's set. that was my third time seeing them. and joe's gf always remembers me it's so awkward. haha. we saw troy! zomg he is like 6'3'' my goodness. we paid out twelve $s and entered. we found our friends mia and sam there already and then sam got her recorder out and we went and asked to interview the summer set for our school radio. we got to interview stephen, jess, and brian outside. it was GREAT. i am not very articulate, tbqh. but it worked out fine. i only asked one bad question, but overall it was a success. :)
then we had to convince the security lady that we were legit interviewers and we should be able to have an in and out and finally got back in.
the pilot's wife was playing and that's sam and mia's super favorite so they were front row. the lead singer crowd dived and everyone moved except for these oblivious fourteen year olds and they got trampled. maya and i saved up our energy and just chilled with taylor and john. john was like 'hi! i'm john! what's your name?' and shook our hands. FOUR TIMES. he kept forgetting. aw it was adorable. none of them remember me except for josh. i gave him my 'music is...' book to write in.
the maya and i skated. we are so cool. and these guys tried to get us to go into the haunted house but it cost three freaking dollars and we had five, for the ep. so we didn't go, plus i've been there like a million times since i was like five basically.
so we stopped skating and got front row for scissors for lefty. they were cute, a lot of their songs sounded the same. as do most bands, i know. but their set change took like 65454 hours and it was ughhhh let's see the summer set! oh i'm so impatient. i can wait three months, but not a half hour. :P i like their accents and voice changing mic. that was pretty cool.
guess who came on next? THE SUMMER SET! during the set change sam ran out of water. and i have intense free water skills, like legit skills. i can get free water out of almost anyone, and starbucks gives the best, just fyi. so i took her water bottle that she bought there for $2.25 (total rip off....no outside food allowed.) and i asked the lady to fill it up. and she did. and sam said it was amazing and i got one sip.
so when i got back to the front these girls had taken my spot. i eventually got it back by inching over....but my shin was up against this shin high speaker. i have a gigantic bruise there now. haha. and the girls who took my spot dropped her phone under the stage so i kindly laid down on my stomach over the speaker and made a fool of myself fishing it out. oh good times. i hope no one took my picture.
we were right in front of john (last time stephen was on this side of the stage but it's chill, i liked watching him to!) brian had this purple shirt with penguins on it and he claimed to have made it twice and got people both times. lol.
the started playing and it was RAD. oh goodness. it was so amazing and the crowd was alright. everyone was jumping and slamming my shin into the speaker. but it was worth it! AHHH. it was just undescribeable. the didn't play love or lights, but they played 'chelsea chelsea' which they told us about in the interview.
after the set maya and i bought the ep and brian, john, and stephen signed it. jess and josh didn't cause they didn't have marker. it's okay, next time. we got picture with almost all of them. it was great. stephen is by far the most adorable person. ever.
taylor told us how he has this heart condition where he can't look at strobe lights or he'll have a heart attack. word to the wise: no strobe lights at tss shows! and he also can't drink energy drinks without freaking out. so don't give him those either.
we talked to jess for a bit and josh gave me back my 'music is...' book and proposed the whole idea behind it basically. it was awesome. then he went in the girl's bathroom to take pictures....scandy. haha
we went outside and chilled by the vans. we had to leave then and couldn't stay for wstm and missed taylor and stephen and john singing. :( but it's okay.
we had an amazing time.

i love you, the summer set! please come back in december. :)
